What is a Postpartum Doula?
A postpartum doula is a gentle guide and extra set of hands during the tender weeks after birth—often called the fourth trimester. My role is to care for you, so you can recover, rest, and focus on bonding with your baby. This might look like preparing nourishing snacks, soothing your little one while you nap, offering breastfeeding or bottle-feeding support, or simply sitting with you in the quiet moments when you need to talk.
At its heart, postpartum doula care is about mothering the mother—providing comfort, reassurance, and practical support during a season that can feel both beautiful and overwhelming. Every family’s needs are unique, and I tailor my care to help you feel grounded, nurtured, and confident as you step into parenthood.
